You may have been researching much of this already, but, in case it helps, please see below some information on COVID-19 relief programs:
Here’s a good article that may be helpful. It addresses frequently asked questions regarding the SBA’s two programs: Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and the CARES Act Payroll Protection Program (PPP): Click here
for the article.
– Click here to apply for EIDL
. These loans are facilitated directly through the SBA. By applying, you should get a $10,000 grant within one week. The process takes between 30 to 60 minutes.
– For the PPP, the SBA is guaranteeing the loans, but the loans will be made by preferred SBA-approved lenders who participate in SBA’s 7(a) program.
You can find local SBA-approved lenders through your local SBA district office. You should also contact your current financial institution; many banks and credit unions are approved SBA lenders. Here is a non-profit that is working with non-profit SBA lenders to facilitate this program as well. Click Here
If you need help accessing or filling these applications out, please let us know.
The State of Colorado also has a CO Relief Funding Program
in the form of grants. It’s called Help Colorado Now and is funded by our CO community through private donors and organizations.
We also recommend you reach out to your city and county governments. Some are finding ways to provide sales and/or property tax relief or deferment.
These are tough times, and we hope to be of service without adding to the ‘noise’.
We wish you, your employees and your family good health.
